So many fresh greens are ready right now. We hope to have them out on the farmstand this week in a cooler. I wash them and let them air dry before bagging them. Since we don’t use any pesticides, I only have some soil and sand to rinse off. Every once in a while I get a clover or blade of grass out of my mix before packaging, but we are diligent as of today on our weeding. Luckily I don’t have any garden pests yet. I have been planting “bait” herbs and alternate attractions for the known flea beetles, white flies, and caterpillars.
