Highly regarded for their meat, berkshire is to pork what wagyu is to beef. Born July 24th , our piglets are purebred and live on a vegetarian diet enjoying food from our garden and the best grains to supplement their nutritional needs.
Our Berkshires have indoor and outdoor living with a run of the pasture. They are used to rooting and foraging just like they would in the wild.
We have seen online that some Berkshire pigs can be aggressive. We have not found that to be true. In fact, our 13 year old daughter was managing their care most of the time. Our boar is even one of the friendliest of the bunch.
